Kaiserhof & Friends offer
On a mountain plateau in the breathtaking Wilder Kaiser region ... Since the winter season 1994/1995 we have been running our Kaiserhof with a committed team of employees according to the highest standards of quality. At that time, we started with just 16 rooms.
We, Bianca and GĂŒnter Lampert, always wanted our own hotel and, in 1994, we were able to fulfil our dream. For us this was the beginning of an extraordinary success story that allowed our Kaiserhof to become a place of warmth and hospitality, friendship and culinary pleasures.
Our Kaiserhof continued working at the cutting edge - In autumn of 2010 we embarked on our next major project which included new themed suites, an underground car park, the âVinariatâ and the âKulinariumâ restaurant. Our new âPurPurâ spa was awarded 3 lilies by the renowned Relax Guide (wellness hotels guide for the German-speaking region).
Despite all the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, together with our children we rolled out the âKaiserhof 2.0â intergenerational project. A quality offensive with new highlights: Panoramic âTurmâ spa over 4 levels, Unlimited mountain pool, new large-scale luxury suites, Skybar, Kaisergarten, underground car park and much more.
Together with our children, Vanessa and Fabian, we are leading our Kaiserhof 2.0 into the future - tirelessly, innovatively and with complete and wholehearted passion and devotion. Yet, in doing so we never forget our roots - The Kaiserhof is an idyllic place with a friendly atmosphere and warmth that sets new standards in terms of quality.
We are not just hosts, but also advocates for our 70 committed employees. To set new standards for them too, we will create our new K-Teamhouse in 2022. For our entrepreneurship and team spirit, we were honoured with the prestigious "Austria's Hotel of the Year" award in 2022.

Certified Sommelier and MaĂźtre d'HĂŽtel
Nobody represents our brand like he does. Karl Rotheneder has been a mainstay of the Kaiserhof success story since 1995. He is a passionate Certified Sommelier and MaĂźtre d'HĂŽtel and manages our restaurants, wine list and âVinariatâ on the basis of his great experience, recognition and wealth of expert knowledge.
Reception Management and Marketing
Since 2006 it's been difficult to imagine life without Madeleine Kurz; over the years, she's really grown dear to our hearts as well as to those of our guests. Besides being always present in the front office, Madeleine has specialised in the area of marketing and she manages our reception with great finesse.
Head Chef
In 2023, the process of succession in the Kaiserhofâs gourmet kitchen was initiated with the sensational hiring of our award-winning chef David Wagger, from Kufstein. Since then, we have been setting new creative standards thanks to his professional reputation, his experience in numerous top restaurants in Tyrol and his inimitable feel for our culinary philosophy.
Executive Assistant
Sarah Wagnleithner has been an important part of our reception team since February 2022. Her enormous enthusiasm and great sense of responsibility enabled her to establish herself as the executive assistant already after a short period of time. We are very proud of her commitment and loyalty to our hotel.
Head of building services and the caretaker team
Helmut has been part of our caretaker team since 2020. His versatility, confidence and technical expertise constitute an invaluable asset; after only a short time, we and our guests can no longer imagine life without him.
Housekeeper
Goranka has been part of the Kaiserhof family, amazingly, since 2001. As the good soul of our hotel and the proverbial âcalmness personifiedâ, she has always led our housekeeping team with unflagging commitment even during the most stressful times.
Beauty Management
Since 2022, Andrea Nothegger has been a valuable addition to our team at the beauty farm. With her years of experience and empathetic nature, she takes care of our guests, offering a variety of treatments including cosmetics, massages, and medical foot care. Her expertise and dedication significantly contribute to the success of our establishment.
