Your family holiday cannot be long enough for you to extensively explore all 7 BergErlebnisWelten (mountain adventure worlds) in the region. In winter, the magic of snow and the family-friendly pistes awaken a child's desire for adventure at the Wilder Kaiser.

Your children can play outside at our small children's playground in the Kaisergarten. There is also a place in the garden for playing chess. And on the terrace by the activity rooms, playing table tennis is a hit.
Our Youngster's Lounge for kids and teens has been divided into two parts - there is a playroom for kids and a climbing wall and there are billiards, table football and much more for teens.
During the main holiday periods, we offer our free childminding service in the Youngster's Lounge from 5 pm - 9 pm Monday to Friday.
If you would like a babysitting service, we would be happy to organise this for a fee. We kindly ask you to request the babysitting service in advance.
We have our own special children's menu.

Children can join you in our ‘PurPur’ spa (indoor pool and family sauna), however the ‘Turm’ spa is for adults only.
Wellness treatments for children? You are welcome to book them with us. Like parents, kids can also enjoy a special wellness program. Treatments
For families, our 2-bedroom family rooms or our suites are ideal.
In summer, our region offers numerous activities and a lot of fun – from an exciting treasure hunt, to a sporty obstacle course, and nature experiences in the mountain park, to pony riding.
In winter, we take our little skiing stars to the local children's ski school with the hotel's own shuttle.

Ellmi´s Magic World

On the Hartkaiser in Ellmau, just above our 5-star superior hotel, Ellmi's Magic World will take you on a mystical journey in the footsteps of the sorcerer's apprentice Ellmi, who was transformed into a large frog by goblins. To save him, his young followers are given a treasure map and, walking along winding paths, they have to solve tasks from the magic world.

To this end, nature trails in Ellmi's Magic World invite children to playfully grasp nature and explore it with all their senses.

Sporty-creative areas

Kaiserwelt Scheffau

In the KaiserWelt on the Brandstadl near Scheffau, a good-humoured games Kaiser invites you into his kingdom situated at 1,650 metres. Here you can do gymnastics, romp around and play to your heart's content.

A sporty course forms the centrepiece of KaiserWelt. Although, the hike through the enchanted forest is also worthwhile, as are the views from the tree huts and the creative immersion in the imperial craft workshop.

On the Sundial Trail

Hohe Salve Söll

The Hohe Salve in Söll, at 1,829 metres, is one of the most beautiful lookout mountains in Tyrol and offers a magnificent view of the Wilder Kaiser. Around the summit, a circular route leads visitors over the so-called Sundial Trail through 15 stations where you can learn exciting and entertaining facts about the history of timekeeping.

The wind harp at the Salven summit invites all hikers to take a break and listen to it. The Salvenkirchlein, the highest pilgrimage church in Austria, is also located here. A visit to this sight can be wonderfully combined with a hike.

Highland moor biotope for families

RiesenWelt Hochbrixen

Situated at 1,300 metres above sea level, the Filzalmsee lake is a gem in the Kitzbühel Alps. Here the senses are naturally stimulated and sharpened for the encounter with the mountain world. You can explore the highland moor biotope in different ways - by crossing the wading pond and the moor treading basin or by studying the informative display cases. On the panoramic paths around the Filzalmsee lake, hikers can refresh themselves from head to toe with Kneipp arm baths and foot reflexology along the special barefoot path.

Out and about as a nature detective

Alpinolino Westendorf

On the Talkaser near Westendorf in the Brixental, natural history knowledge is integrated in an exciting way in the Alpinolino mountain park.

Children can compete in the long jump with squirrels and rabbits or go on a "marmot rally". The touch box, the scent organ or the tree telephone awaken the senses in a fun way. Tip: The Alpinolino mountain guide ‘Schlauberger’ allows families to become nature detectives.

Animal adventures in Going

Astberg Pony Alm

"How cute!" - Children get so excited about the 20 ponies at the mountain station of the Astberg cable car. On a guided tour, they can even experience the fantastically beautiful nature from the backs of the cute little horses. Pony riding like a little cowboy or cowgirl: a highlight for the kids.

There's even more animal fun at the petting zoo. Children's hearts will leap for joy even higher.

There’s nothing like heading out into the snow. Counting snow crystals, frolicking in the snow, throwing snowballs on a family walk - here, the children can have a terrific winter experience.
