Below us, in the valley, lies Ellmau in the region referred to as ‘Sölllandl’; while around us, providing a wonderful backdrop, are the massifs of the Wilder Kaiser and the Hartkaiser. When you arrive in Tyrol you can look forward to the views that await you at our Kaiserhof in Ellmau, in the Kufstein district.

From Germany:
A12 München - Rosenheim - Kufstein South
Toll-free to Kufstein Süd possible since 15 December 2019
On 11.11.2019, the Budget Committee of the National Council decided that the motorway section from the German border to the motorway exit Kufstein Süd would be toll-free.

From Eastern Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia: Motorway A1 to Salzburg - Bad Reichenhall - Lofer - Waidring - St. Johann in Tirol in the direction of Wörgl towards Ellmau am Wilden Kaiser.

From Italy:
A13/A12 Brenner - Innsbruck (in the direction of München) - exit Wörgl Ost in the direction of St. Johann towards Ellmau am Wilden Kaiser.

From Switzerland:
Feldkirch - Innsbruck (A12 in the direction of München/Salzburg) - exit Wörgl Ost in the direction of St. Johann towards Ellmau am Wilden Kaiser.

From Ellmau:

Take the entrance road to Ellmau. Follow the signs to the 5-star Superior Hotel Kaiserhof that will direct you as follows.
After approx. 300 m turn RIGHT (opposite the Intersport shop), after 200 m turn right again.
Follow the road until you see a small bridge.
Drive over the bridge and up the mountain until you come to a forested area (see signs).
After a sharp left turn, you will come through the forest directly to the hotel.
An underground garage parking space will be awaiting you already. By the way, our underground car park has an e-vehicle charging station (subject to payment).

Arriving by train

If you would like to travel to us in Tyrol by train, our nearest stations are:

St. Johann in Tirol station (approx. 12 km; approx. 15 minutes)
Kitzbühel station (approx. 17 km; approx. 20 minutes)
Kufstein station (approx. 20 km; approx. 30 minutes)
Wörgl station (approx. 25 km; approx. 30 minutes)

Upon request, we would be glad to organise a taxi for you from a train station to Ellmau. For a free transfer, you are welcome to book via the ‘Getting here the green way’ (‘Grüne Anreise’) campaign (Kufstein and Wörgl).
