Directions to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof

From Germany
A12 Munich – Rosenheim- Kufstein Süd
On 11th November 2019 it was decided in the budget exclusion of the National Council that the motorway section from the German border to the motorway exit Kufstein South will be toll-free!

From Eastern Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia:
Motorway A1 to Salzburg – Bad Reichenhall – Lofer – Waidring – St. Johann in Tirol direction Wörgl to Ellmau at the Wilder Kaiser.
Take the first entry to Ellmau. Follow the signs leading to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof.

From Italy
A13/A12 Brenner – Innsbruck (direction Munich) –exit Wörgl Ost direction St. Johann to Ellmau at the Wilder Kaiser.
Take the first entry to Ellmau. Follow the signs leading to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof.

*From Switzerland *
Feldkirch – Innsbruck (A12 direction Munich/Salzburg) – exit Wörgl Ost direction St. Johann to Ellmau at the Wilder Kaiser.
Take the first entry to Ellmau. Follow the signs leading to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof.

Upon arrival in Ellmau:

  • Take the first entry to Ellmau.
  • After approximately 300m, turn RIGHT (vis-à-vis the Intersport shop), after 200 m turn RIGHT again.
  • Follow the road until you reach a small bridge.
  • Cross the bridge and drive up the mountain until you reach a forest (follow the signs).
  • After a very sharp left turn, you will drive through the forest, arriving directly at the hotel.

By airplane:

The nearest airports are in Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck. You can rent a car at the airport. We also organise shuttle services to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof.

By train:

The nearest train stations are in St. Johann and in Kufstein. We will be happy to organise a taxi transfer from the train station to the five star superior hotel Kaiserhof – just tell us your arrival time! There are also direct connections to Ellmau from the train stations – we will gladly pick you up from the village centre upon request.
