These are challenging times for all of us and we sincerely hope you are well.
In the current situation around the novel corona virus (COVID-19), we are aware of our social responsibility to prevent the virus from spreading rapidly and to implement all measures and instructions. Our guests and employees can be rest-assured that our hotel adhere to recommended hygiene standards given by official health authorities. We do our utmost to guarantee a safe yet pleasant stay at any time.
Our implemented hygiene standards and precautionary measures include beside others increased cleaning cycles in all public areas and guest rooms with a special focus on frequently touched points such as door handles, light switches, water taps, etc.
In addition we provide hand disinfection dispensers in all public areas throughout the hotel as well as marked distance zones and further information on supporting behaviour. Arrival and Check-In
For your arrival and the Check-In you need:
- a NEGATIVE TEST RESULT (e.g. antigen test valid 24 hours or PCR test valid 72 hours) OR
- a CONFIRMATION that you have been vaccinated twice OR
- a PROOF of a past infection in the last 6 months or antibody detection.
The obligation to submit a test applies to children from the age of 12.
For those guests without proof of antibodies or who have not yet received a vaccination a REGULAR TESTING at 24 hour intervals is required.
The current situation is not easy for all of us, regulations change every day and travel warnings make planning almost impossible.
To make it easier for you to plan, we have adapted the cancellation conditions for reservations for the summer season 2021:
If cross-border travel is not possible due to government measures in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, you can of course cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
If the situation improves before your booked stay and you are still unsure whether you want to travel, you can cancel free of charge up to 1 month in advance.

The Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply as follows:
There is no right of withdrawal according to § 18 Abs. 1 Z. 10 FAGG. Free cancellation up to 3 months before arrival. 3 – 1 months before arrival 40% of the booked price, from 1 month 70% of the booked price, in the last week 90%. We also charge 90% in case of early departure. A cheap cancellation insurance option is available at booking.
In all public areas, we pay attention to a limited maximum number of people present. Guests and Staff are urged to maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter.
Duty to wear masks
Even though masks don´t have to be worn in hotel/restaurant operations mandatory in Austria since 1st July 2021, it is the wish of the house to wear it at the buffet.
Please avoid hand shakes and wash your hands several times a day with soap and water at least for 30 sec. Disinfection dispensers are available in all public areas.
All areas of the hotel are cleaned according to the recommendations of the official health authorities. If you do not wish to have your room cleaned during your stay, we kindly ask you to hang the “Do not disturb” sign outside on your room door. If you require any additional amenities, please contact our reception staff.
To ensure maximum safety, our entire Staff are tested regularly (24 h or 72 h).
Cashless payment if possible.
In the restaurant you can dine by yourself, maintaining well beyond the minimum legal distance from others. You will be served at the table or at the buffet by trained employees with gloves and face masks.
We are offering our guests an extra service: Daily covid-19 testing available.
If there’s one thing that’s not lacking at the Hotel, it’s space. There are plenty of options for retreat and space just for you – both indoors and outdoors.
